Motorcyclist dies in Haywards Heath crash

A man in his 20s has died in a motorcycle crash in Haywards Heath, according to Sussex Police.

The force said the single-vehicle crash happened on A272 Rocky Lane, near the junction with Cedar Avenue, at around 22:20 BST on Friday.

Emergency services attended and gave “immediate life-saving action” but the man died at the scene, it said.

The man’s family has been informed, police confirmed.

Rockey Lane, from Virginia Drive to Bolnore village roundabout, has reopened after it was closed while officers investigated the incident.

Sussex Police urged anyone who may have seen the motorcycle being ridden before the crash or has footage of what happened to get in contact.
